How we write our guides
Our guides help you understand a dryer problem before you call anyone. They are general help. They are not a diagnosis of your own dryer, and they do not replace your manual or a trained technician.
- We write in plain English and explain hard technical words.
- We put safety steps ahead of repair tips. For anything that involves power, gas or heat, safety comes first.
- When a guide and your manual disagree, follow the manual.
- We do not invent examples, customer stories or results.
Where our facts come from
Where a guide gives a safety fact, a number, an error code or a warranty detail, it names its source on the page, so you can check it yourself. The sources we use most are:
- Makers’ manuals and help pages, such as Whirlpool, LG, Frigidaire and Kenmore.
- U.S. government agencies, such as the U.S. Fire Administration, the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC).
- Local sources, such as Puget Sound Energy (PSE) and the City of Kenmore.
- Repair, parts and cost guides from other companies, such as iFixit and HomeGuide.
Fixing mistakes
We try to get things right, but we can miss something. If you spot a mistake, tell us through the contact page. We check it against the source and fix the page. When a source changes, we update the guide.
Prices
The price ranges on our Pricing page are typical U.S. ranges from a named source. They are not a quote for your dryer. Any price we give you is agreed with you before work starts.
Pictures
Pictures on this site are for illustration. Unless a caption says otherwise, they are not photos of a particular customer, home or job.
Customer reviews
As of October 30, 2026, this site shows no customer reviews yet. We will not make any up. When real customers write reviews, these rules apply.
- Real customers only. A review must come from a person who really used the service.
- No paid or rewarded reviews. We do not pay for reviews, and we do not give discounts or gifts for them.
- No fake reviews. We do not write reviews ourselves, and we do not ask friends, family or staff to pose as customers. We do not use computer-written reviews.
- We ask every customer, not only the happy ones.
- Permission first. We show a review only if the customer says we may, usually with a first name and a city. We do not change the words. If a review must be shortened, or private details hidden, we ask the customer first.
- Good and bad. We do not hide a review just because it is critical. We may remove one that is abusive, shows private details, is about another business, or does not come from a real customer.
- No pressure. We never threaten anyone to make them change or remove a review.
These rules follow the FTC’s rule on fake reviews and testimonials (read the FTC announcement) and Google’s policy for reviews. If you see a review of our business anywhere that does not look real, please tell us.
Money and independence
Dryer Repair Kenmore is a dryer repair business. We are paid by our customers for the repairs we do. No brand or parts seller pays us to be mentioned, and this site shows no ads. This does not change what our guides say or which sources we use. If that ever changes, we will say so on the page. For brand names, see our Terms and conditions.
